I got passed over for the opportunity of a lifetime. It would have been a life changing job. In the end they went with someone who had more years in role but less actual experience.

I have to work with this new hire extensively. I have been able to maintain a professional demeanor so far but it's hard not to let the sour grapes show.

This job market is absolutely horrible, I wish it were better so that I had a realistic chance of finding a better gig.
