Listen... I know where his NFL career has been. I'm not saying he deserves to be clamored over by teams given what his performance has been... but given the current situation of some NFL teams right now, I'm surprised there hasn't been more action to try and get him - esp. since his good preseason performance. And yeah, I know that his good preseason performance was against sub-par competition, but even then, I thought he showed well. Despite his career stats, he's taken a decent amount of reps under center in this league, and that experience has to mean something...

And maybe teams are calling and Sean Payton is like "no way"... given what has been (and could still be) a challenging rookie year for Nix.

I also know that $$ is a factor.

I'm just scratching my head why some teams have had to fall back on players like Tyler Huntley and Joe Flacco (and I'm a Flacco fan...) when there are backups like Wilson that could plug a hole, or even play most of the season and help a team out.
