I merged the two individual computer rankings out there and looked at the top 200 individuals so far. Both use past seasons and track times, not just current season. Here is some perhaps interesting trivia. The accuracy of these rankings will improve a lot after a couple more races.
82/200 are international.
23 of the international runners are coming in as freshmen. 19 from Kenya.
6 of those Kenyan freshmen sit in the top 25. 7 more in the top 50. Lock and load.
For the Americans, here is the graduation year.
2017 - 2 (1 byu)
2018 - 3 (2 byu)
2019 - 8 (2 byu) (will be 3 after another race)
2020-22 - lots
2023 - 12 (0 byu) (Gorze was a BYU recruit)
2024 - 4 (1 BYU, Nance at 128)
BYU’s top 7 comes in at 8, 12, 33, 35, 36, 78, 89. Garrett Stanford is inexplicably low and not one of them. I expect he will move into the top 100 with another race or two.
