In 18 red zone attempts, BYU has scored 17 times, so 17/18 = 94.4%. Which is bogus. The correct calculations is to take how many points were scored divided by how many points were possible. BYU scored 12 TDs and 5 FGs in 18 attempts.
((#TDs x 7) + (#FGs x 3)) / (#ATT x 7) = ((12 x 7) + (5 x 3)) / (18 x 7) = (84 + 15) / (18 x 7) = 99 / 126 = 78.6%
