Resume SP+ basically compares how the average top-5 team in SP+ would fare vs. a team's schedule to how the actual team fared. From that perspective, BYU has done very well (likely much of the credit for their high ranking here is due to their blowout of Kansas St.). They are still only at #42 in the traditional SP+, though, so I would temper expectations just a bit moving forward.
