with my son. Couple things I purchased that made our trip so much better and more comfortable.
Far and away portable shower. I bought a two room shower tent and a shower heads with pump. Having a warm shower every night was worth the time and effort to heat the water. They have portable water heaters but I chose to heat it up on a stove. Warm shower at night after all day hunting is a game changer. Also, purchased a portable doggy bath to retain the water.
Portable oven that sits on a portable stove. Get the one with a window so you can see the food cooking. We cooked chicken quesadillas, pizzas, brownies.
Portable toilet. I bought an Ann Katy with side pocket to hold TP and bags.
Oversized cot with 3inch foam mattress. I'm not a small guy and having room and cushion was awesome.
I slept 9 nights and slept great every night maybe even better than home. Highly recommend trying to make a trip like this or even a couple day trip much more comfortable.
We also had 5 two liter and 4 milk jugs painted in half with black paint. We filled them with water and heated them with during the day. They got really warm, almost hot. We used it to heat the water up quicker.
