The Pay injury had a bigger effect on the second half than Roderick's play calling.
Conner has been a mainstay on our line for years. The center is crucial to OL communication. He's also more involved in plays on both sides of the line than any other position on the line. He's the anchor and linch pin. I think our backups across the line are better than we've had recently, but you don't lose a guy like Pay and not have it affect the entire offense.
I don't believe that any of our coaches are infallible, and I know that ripping on Roderick is the "cool" thing to do these days on CB, but like Hans in the post game, most of the time, the criticisms I read here make me question the football IQ of the poster more than they make me question Roderick's play calling.
