The B12 is gonna be pretty fun to watch play out as the season progresses. At
this point, there really isn't a clearly dominant 1 or 2 teams that would take a big upset for any lower tier'd teams to beat, like there are in most conferences. The B12 teams are going to duke it out every week, and it will be interesting (and entertaining) to see who beats who week after week, as it seems almost anyone could beat anyone, on any given week.

If anyone, BYU and ISU seem to be slightly in the lead, since they're the only teams undefeated so far. But, ISU really hasn't been tested, and BYU, projected as 13 /16 pre-season, was still considered an underdog to a Baylor team with 2 losses, despite BYU being 4-0 going in. KSU was looking dominant, then got worked by BYU. UA was looking to be in the lower half of the conference after their KSU pummeling, and then they beat UU in RES. UCF was looking dominant, then lost to Colorado at home. There are 13 of 16 teams with a winning record, and every one of them seems capable of beating any of the other 13 teams if they play well on any given day, or the other team stumbles.

And even the current bottom 3 with losing records are dangerous. Baylor beat AFA soundly, and lost to BYU by only 6 pts, coming down to the wire, so lost to BYU, CU and UU by a combined 24 points, so basically an average of 8 pts, so they were right in every game. Houston has had some lopsided defeats, but did pummel Rice 33-7, and only lost to Oklahoma by 4 points, so they can compete also. Then there's Kansas, who is 1-4, but have had no lopsided loses, losing to Illinois by 6, UNLV by 3, WVU by 4, and TCU by more, but still a respectable 11. Bottom line, there will be almost no "days off," for any B12 teams, apart from BYU's bye this week.

Giddyup, it's gonna be a ride.
