I only watched the last few minutes of the fourth quarter, but right after I turned it on Wilson took a big hit, and they showed him getting back up after the play. He was slow getting up, and he looked miserable. I think that KW ruined his freshman QB.

I don't watch a lot of their games, but from the snippets that I have seen I have not been overly impressed with Wilson. To me he looked like a QB with potential to be adequate, but not great. One who can move an offense if the other pieces of the offense are very good. Not a QB that can take an adequate offense and make it great.

That being said, i think it's a rarity to be able to start a freshman QB and watch him get rocked like that, and then see him ever fully shake it off. I'm sure there are those that will disagree, but as I see it Arizona got in his head, and Wilson will be hearing footsteps, his confidence is shot, and his career will be ending before it ever really got started. If I were a Ute I would be simultaneously raging mad about Rising just chilling on the sidelines fully dressed, and praying that Rising makes his way back to the field next game and gives Wilson a break and a sliver of a chance at regaining some confidence.
