The zip on the ball is a real issue. It’s not that the ball isn’t getting there quickly, it’s that for every 1 or 2 ok throws, he has another 3-4 that are not good.

None of this would be an issue if coaches could trust rising to not run reckless and put himself at risk.

Bottom line, judging off his 2 halves of play this year, coaches know he’s going to run often and take off very early.
