Wouldn’t meet expectations.

Imagine building your entire hope and legacy around one player. A player that doesn’t play. A player entering his 7th year coming off two major injuries. Naming a true freshman as your #2 before the season even started.

This was a near guarantee to happen. But this will be their excuse. “If we had Cam Rising…”. But just a reminder, he was limping on the run in the second game of the season that injured his finger on a Gatorade cooler.

If it wasn’t the finger, his legs wouldn’t have made it to this point in the season anyways.
