Prassas and Alexander got beat in 1:1 coverage for the second and fourth touchdown respectively.
The 3rd touchdown had some confusion in the secondary. It looked like they were in a four deep zone look, where Aexander had responsibility for the deep fourth along that sideline, but he had another man in the zone who pulled him inside, thus leaving #34 wide open. I could be wrong on whose responsibility this was, but that’s how it looked to me.
Really good work by the Baylor OC to attack two young DB’s, who will both get better from the experience.
The defensive rotations and how many guys we play is a net positive, but this is the drawback. You (almost) lose a game because guys aren’t ready for prime time… but they will only be ready for prime time with PT.
