Intervention Needed
“Miami player touched the ball while out of bounds making it an incomplete pass”
This is the new official explanation. Is that for real? So they’re not even saying the VT player never had possession (my theory).
So can any defender just put a foot out of bounds and get a finger on the ball for it to be ruled incomplete?

That's the right call, if the ball is loose and not possessed by the receiver
