"If you go to the gym even when it’s snowing, you have evidence that you are committed to fitness."
Been pondering this thought from Atomic Habits today.

And.. decided to put the thought to action this morning as well. I've been planning on starting a YouTube channel that's dealing with nature. I've been practicing taking short nature videos on and off for months.

This morning after working out it was raining pretty hard and there's this nature park that I usually go to and take HD video but.. I usually take the video at sunrise or sunset because I figure it'd probably be an appealing type of nature because they can be some of the most beautiful celestial events on a daily basis but.. rainy days can be nice too. 🙂

Anyhow.. the thought I had this morning was I want my brain to know that this is important to me and I think that as the title says that when you keep committed to things that you know are important your brain recognizes it and in some way or another finds a way to continue to do those things even when things are difficult.

“That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do-not that the nature of the thing is changed, but that our power to do is increased.'

Heber J. Grant

I've had a few other thoughts that were also generated from this pondering as "being committed and defying "bad" days"

How do you defy bad days?

Well.. one thing you can do is You can sing in the rain!

This movie clip from "What about Bob?" came to my mind but I'm sure the song from the movie "Singing in the rain" is good too.

Hope my thoughts from pondering today provide as useful to someone else as they have to me today. 🙂

Mods the reason I put this in health and fitness is because mental fortitude is an important part of mental health and fitness.
