So this Sluka deal is just more evidence that "NIL" does not really stand for
"name, image, and likeness". We all know they are getting paid to play, so why not just admit that's what it is and set more reasonable rules and restrictions on it to make it fair for everyone involved?

They need to keep the illusion that these players are still student athletes and not semi-pro football players.
