Quick update on my nephew:
I flew out to see him for the last time last weekend. It was great to see him. It was determined a couple weeks ago that he was physically too weak to continue chemotherapy. Through his first series of Chemo he had no complaints and seemed to handle the chemo like a champ. After he had cleared cancer (and rung the bell) twice. . . Each time he did Chemo it was physically obvious that the chemo was more and more difficult. Sadly he just hit a brick wall and could not tolerate it anymore.
When he was first diagnosed with cancer, his median survival was 18.6 months per the article linked below. He has so far survived over 4.5 years.

As for the game. I didn't know how to tell CB, but my nephew was just too tired and felt weak so I didn't watch with him while he slept during the 1st half. Luckily Youtube you can show both the end of the 1st half, and then watched most of the 3rd quarter. I wish he felt good enough to watch the entire game. But it was still an amazing last game! It was a perfect way for the Cougars to deliver! Honestly, probably the best 6 minutes of football since UCLA in 2008 (Maybe even better than that).

Currently my nephew is still alive, but I don't expect him to be around for the Baylor game. Heck, I am surprised he is still with us after Sunday night. I love the guy and I am proud of how much he has matured between diagnosis at 13 y/o and the man he has become today. He will be greatly missed! He was the one who encouraged me to make the youtube videos breaking down the BYU 2022 season! It was because I went to visit him that I matched with my wife on Mutual. His fight with cancer has really united the extended family and brought us closer together. I just wish it wasn't time to say goodbye.

Edit: Here is the link. He had Stage 4 SRCC at diagnosis.
