Obviously didn't have a Marvel-esque budget, but the director did a passable job with what he did have. Bill Mosely is decent as a farmer the townspeople are trying to screw over. Guy just wants to run his haunted hayride in peace but the bank wants to foreclose, the cops are harassing him, and the townspeople are a bunch of karens. He's not the most likable protagonist, but I'm always inclined to side with the land use libertarian over the NIMBY types. Writers seemed to really dislike cops and banks but also seemed to have a weird distaste for their own protagonist — I guess they think all rural types are misogynistic gun wackos.
Not to be confused with the Australian short of the same name, featuring Kylie Minogue as "The Girl."
