What say ye CB? I noticed a wet spot of about 5ft on the foundation slab next to
The master bathroom. It lines up almost perfectly against the wall where the shower is located. No obvious drips or gushing but it’s clearly wet. I removed the interior trim on one of the other walls bordering the shower and there’s no pooled water but it is moist where it joins with the exterior wall. Every other access point would require tearing up the shower. The grout/caulk is cracking along the edges on the floor of the shower, so I think that might be the issue.
Am I ok to just not use that shower for a week, see if it dries out, reseal it with caulk, and see if it comes back? Or is it too risky leaving it wet like that for that long?
