I don't think many would argue that Davis is better used as a 3rd down back who can run outside and catch the ball out of the backfield, so they should use him that way. He has high end speed to break one, which the other backs don't really possess, so they should use it. They can also bring him in and use him as a decoy on plays because teams are expecting BYU to use him on the outside or throw to him in the flats.

I wouldn't mind if they give 4 RBs snaps every game just to give opposing Ds different looks. It'll be interesting to see how many RBs play regularly and how carries are divided out, especially when Martin comes back.
