I've been a season ticket holder since the 80's (personally, and with my dad), and I am thrilled at the significant improvement of the gameday experience at LES. For decades the big thing was to have a plywood cutout of a receiver with someone trying to throw a football through the hole, AKA "The Quarterback Challenge!" Seeesh, it was dumb. Most of the excitement came from the crowd doing the wave. I remember going to the "Beck to Harline" game at RES and being jealous of many aspects of their gameday experience.
In short, Tom Holmoe has done an amazing job at taking gameday from being lame to being amazing. I absolutely LOVE the new LED field lights and what they can do with them. Cosmo has been elevated to a major entertainer at the games, and the overall improvement is HUGE. I'm also glad they toned down the in-your-face sponsorships of everything under the sun. It is much more subtle now. I love the LES experience we have now.
