Here's the logic on why this may actually matter (on the margin)...

Kansas State apparently left a "lasting impression" on AJ (according to Joe Tipton's latest update yday).

Multiple sources have reported that AJ wants to go to a school with a good football program as well (btw - UNC got SMOKED by James Madison this weekend WHILE HE WAS THERE - KARMA!!).

I hope that AJ saw the BYU / KSU highlights.... There's NO WAY he didn't.

When it comes down to it, a good football team is LOWER on the list of his priorities BUT... it doesn't hurt that BYU just smoked the wildcats in Provo!

I ALSO hope he saw all of the amazing KSU fan feedback of what a great environment BYU was despite getting blown out.

Oh, and Ainge, Jimmer, Will Hardy, Ryan Smith, Woj (now a competitor, ha) and KY (along with a bunch of the basketball players) were all at the game...

The Oct 12th game environment vs. Arizona when AJ and JJ visit is going to be EXPLOSIVE.
