Heart health.

Per DN article Hill has had heart issues (possibly hereditary) for years. Heart attack is a first though. No way he puts himself on the hot seat with a family of four at home and heart monitoring going on.

Sure give him four or five years of good health and his kids starting to leave home and he might change his mind, but heck by then his defense could win a Natty on its own.

Meanwhile there is another reason he might relish being #2 under Kalani. Sitake’s culture of love and learn is showing some useful resilience. Could Hill duplicate that culture and dominate poly recruiting going forward? I kind of doubt it. Moreover I think Hill knows that, so I’m guessing he’s happy with continuing that way for awhile.

I think Hill is here to stay for a bit.
