Admittedly, our defense struggled the first several series, and it looked like KSU was capable of bullying us the entire game.
I don't know what adjustments were made, but our defense got stronger and stronger as the game progressed, and by the 4h quarter KSU looked like they had no idea how to defend BYU. We plugged running lanes, contained a very dangerous running QB, and brought pressure from all over the field. That QB was shaken.
Say what you want about a few lucky bounces, but Jay Hill out-coached a really good KSU staff.
