requires 7th graders to pass a pretty tough physical fitness test to be able to play JV or Varsity sports. My son was a good basketball player and went all out on the testing. it included distance running and strength tests. Anyway, he passed the test, but when coming home - he vomited all over the front walk up to our house. He had put it all out there on the line for those tests and it made me first feel parental sorry for him, but then kind of proud that he left nothing whatsoever in the tank.

so when I saw Kingston hurl, it made me proud of him for giving 100% effort holding nothing back.

like the stanza in Kiplings poem If

...if you can force your heart, and nerve and sinew,
to serve your turn long after they are gone,
