I think K-State is the better team but BYU's game plan worked very well and BYU made the plays to win. K-State is also not as good as they think they are. I think they have a very good run defense, just okay pass defense and a young mobile QB that still needs to work on his passing but appears to have a lot of upside.

BYU's defense played not to give up the big play and lost a lot of 1-on-1 battles in the run game but the overall result was that K-State made some key turnovers and could not convert in the red zone. K-State looked like the better rounded team but they also aren't world beaters either.

If BYU doesn't get the scoop & score I wonder how the game would have proceeded. I think that was the play that turned the game around.
