That is a legit win and instead of losing by 12 points to a top 10 team, BYU win by 29 points, a 41 point swing vs the FEI model. That is a dang impressive effort in all phases of the game. The D, the O and ST delivered. They started a bit slow, but the D sparked the momentum change and all other phases kept it rolling.

Hard to overstate the impressiveness of this win at this point. I hope KSU doesn't lay an egg the rest of the year, but with SMU destroying tcu and watching KSU play pretty solid football the first few games, gives me some confidence that it will remain a solid win.

Jake played a great game, no turnovers, converted several key third downs and threw a few amazing dimes. He missed a couple passes, but played very smart, taking sacks when he needed to and going for the kill shot when needed.

Game ball definitely goes to the D, but great overall team effort. This D should keep us in every game this year, even when the offense inevitably struggles at times. Got to love that.
