subcultures I’ve seen. It’s like someone corralled all of the future engineers and accountants together and asked them to invent a sport. No coaches or refs. They just kind of figure it out together and hold each other accountable, and then fill the air with discs and an equal amount of dorky positivity and self deprecation. Even the chatter from the parents on the sideline fits the brief. I’m thinking about shouting out at halftime to see who wants to do an impromptu marching band just to see the excited little dweebs rush to their car to get their instruments.
