Jake is still a young quarterback at the FBS level. Hopefully his trajectory will be one of significant improvement. Mistakes that he makes are not unique to him.

The interception thrown by Jaron Hall against Arizona State (when Tyler Allgeier saved the day), is fairly similar to the interception thrown by Jake Retzlaff against SMU when he was in the grasp and made a decision to throw the ball. Both were mistakes. Neither of those passes should’ve been thrown.

I think Jaron learned from his mistake. Hopefully Jake will as well.
