Summer. They unilaterally agreed to no longer work with PTO organizations for any school in the district (without any input or vote from the parents). They are replacing it with their own organization where the school now controls all of the money from the fundraisers and have no accountability for how it is being spent. They are, however, still asking for the same level of volunteer involvement from the parents and trying to convince everyone it is to make their lives easier and has nothing to do with the budget cuts that are rippling through the district now that Covid funding has dried up.
It’s going to crash and burn, should be fun to watch.
