My FIL is turning 60 next month and just retired. His new thing is driving around in his free time around national parks wildlife watching. I’m wanting to get him a pair for his birthday, he’s definitely a lot more knowledgeable on the subject than me and so I don’t want to get him something he will know is terrible quality and won’t really use.

What are some of the nicer ones you can find? I’m open to paying good money for some he will love, he’s a great guy who’s been an excellent source of advice through the years.
