Have really struggled sleeping for the last few years. Went in to my family practice doc and he suggested doxapin which helps but doesn’t do anything for a major issue which is flinching awake right when I’m about to fall a sleep
I exercise 5 days a week, I’m in pretty good shape.
We easily ruled out coffee and alcohol… we talked about routine and blue light from TV…
Eventually we went a sleep doc for a study. The jitters kept me up like usual I got 2.5 hours of sleep. O2 levels always high
Guess what they prescribe, yep a mask strapped to my face was their solution. Knowing fully well that was garbage I went back to my own research….
Turns out all the water I drink after workouts didn’t replace lost electrolytes.
Now I drink Some gator aid at night (along with some magnesium supplements) and the flinches are gone 😅
C-pap… what a freaking joke
