1. Our front 7 is much improved from last year. We are getting pressure, we are maintaining gap integrity, and we are plugging run lanes. These are things we struggled doing last year in almost every game.

2. I've been super unimpressed by the accuracy of the QBs we've faced so far this year. There's been a lot of big plays that they couldn't complete; touchdowns and major chunk plays. Upcoming QBs will make us pay.

3. Containing a mobile QB remains a huge challenge. It's been a challenge in 2/3 games we've played so far, and we have better/faster QBs coming up.

4. Of all the young talent I'm seeing on the field, nobody impresses me more than Glasker. If he stays healthy, he will become our featured star on defense.

5. We have an elite defensive coaching staff. Keeping Jay Hill will be a challenge.

6. Personally, I think we subbed way too much last week versus Wyoming (even early in the game). Maybe coaches were comfortable with the opponent and felt like we could get lots of players experience, but I hope this doesn't become the pattern moving forward. Our best 11 should get 75% of the snaps.

7. Looking forward to next year (already), we need some immediate help on the DL. Our linebackers, DBs, and safeties are in great position, but it's a scary situation up front.
