It's sad to say it but it's pretty damning on Ropati's running back vision. I noticed it during the game a few times but never took the time to pause it and break things down like this article does.
The run blocking was excellent, running lanes were there, but Ropati made the wrong reads and wrong cuts and runs right into unblocked defenders rather than going where the lanes were blocked.
I'm really excited to see how Nawahine looks today...I really feel like he could become the RB2. I like Miles as our RB3 as a big play home run potential guy...I bet we see at least one big 30+ yard run from him today, but that Nawahine becomes our reliable backup to LJ (obviously LJ not playing today) due to his vision.
