They lost 3 games. Two were because of a pick-six (UTEP & Ohio State) by Bosco. The UTEP one was particularly bad as we were near the goalline ready to score. Bosco's shoulder was so hampered the whole latter half of the season, that it was not shocking BYU lost games. UTEP was inexcusable, the worst loss in program history based on the talent of the teams involved. BYU dominated OSU and held their offense to a FG. the defensive TD by OSU led to a 10-7 win by OSU. The only other loss was to a top 5 UCLA team, where BYU almost had the game locked up. BYU stopped UCLA's final drive with a sack inside UCLA's 20 yard line. A very questionable roughing the passer call let to a fresh set of downs. A slip and fall by the BYU CB on a long pass led to UCLA scoring a TD with under a minute left to win.
