Japan Coug Intervention Needed
On natl. sports radio this morning, they gave a great example of why fans should
not overreact after one or two games early in a football season. In the 2003 opener, the Bills beat the Patriots 31-0, with Tom Brady going 14-28 for 124 yards and 4 interceptions. The Bills’ QB was Brady’s predecessor in NE, Drew Bledsoe, and there were a couple of other former Patriots on the Bills roster too. Patriots nation went into full meltdown mode and many were calling for Brady to be benched or traded (they had gone 9-7 the prior year and missed the playoffs).

Ad it turned out, the Patriots only lost one more game all season, finishing the regular season 14-2, and won the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, the Bills finished 6-10.

There are lots of examples of this, but this might be one of the best this century.
