I have an older sister I minister to. She can't get regular internet service like Xfinity due to remoteness of where she lives. She currently has a cellphone via AT&T and a cellular tablet also with AT&T. It works fine for what she has needed in the past. She would now like to install Ring security devices in her home, but needs a permanent internet service. I've been looking at home internet via cellular. I've helped some other people in our ward to get service via T-Mobile and Verizon. Those two have worked out well, but where she lives the coverage is better with AT&T. I've looked online at AT&T's hotspot devices and my first impression is that those seem to be less robust than T-Mobile or Verizon's offerings. Anyone have experience with AT&T's hotspot devices? Do they work well enough to provide wifi coverage for a larger home - including security connections?
As a different question - is there some different security devices that she could put around her home - so that she could view video recordings (when she is at home) without having to have a constant internet service connection?
TIA
