Baylor was so successful when he was there because they had elite back going for 1400+ yards and he could manage the game while adding a dual threat element.

Do we really think he could replicate that kind of success without LJ Martin for the foreseeable future? He has a career completion percentage of 59.5% & a 2-1 TD-INT ratio.

Playing USF we saw a player more similar to Jake than the guy we faced at Baylor last n terms of decision-making and ability to consistently move the ball.

Gerry seems like a great guy but his career doesn’t exactly scream Savior anymore than Jake’s has so far.
