On Jake…the issue isn’t the TOs it’s the carelessness of the TOs. Every QB will throw INts. Those will happen throwing into the middle or downfield. But they should NEVER happen throwing screens or short passes. Never ever. That’s just careless. It’s unreal how careless and dumb Jake is with the ball.

And fumbles simply can’t happen. He’s fumbling in ways that are corrected/coached/punished in 10 year old football. Go and watch them. They’re not defensive-caused fumbles where they’re ripping the ball out. They’re Jake getting slightly hit and dropping the ball. It’s wild.

It’s inexcusable. My biggest concern is that he doesn’t ’get it’. You simply can’t be careless with the ball. If he doesn’t dramatically improve, this is a 4 win team (Wyoming and Houston).

The convo with Jake is simple: throw another pick near the LoS or fumble, and you sit. Period.
