So last night’s episode had the fairly obvious reveal that Manny Jacinto’s Qimir was the Sith leading Mae and briefly shown at the end of Episode 1. While that was a bit obvious at this point and fairly uninteresting, I think the more interesting point going forward will be the reveal that Qimir is not the Sith master himself, but an apprentice.

Maybe that’s obvious too - the entire name of the show is The Acolyte, which is basically a dark side new apprentice of an apprentice. But the interesting part will be the potential review of who Qimir’s master will be at the end of the season. Any guesses?

There’s a possibility it could be Darth Plagueis, we know he was around in this era. But mostly I’m not sure of any other Sith from the High Republic era depicted in this show.

It could be the green lady Jedi leading the small council, but that would be increasingly hard to reconcile with the cover up that the show needs here in order to make the lines (or potential lies) in The Phantom Menace be true about the sith disappearing for a millennium. Not sure if I am aware of any other candidates.
