heard a huge splash. I shone my light in the direction the splash came from and saw a head swimming away from me. I've never heard an animal make that big of a splash before. Neighbors have seen alligators before, but they were small and I didn't see them. I think this may have been a larger one. It started out about 25 yards away from me.

This is after my neighbor 3 houses down was bit by a cottonmouth two weeks ago. I live 5 miles away from an SEC stadium, but sometimes it feels like the frontier.
