Last night we went to the Providence Game and watched us get blown out. There were very few fellow cougar fans and amid the chants we were followed by the students all the way to the parking garage while being yelled at to, "Keep walking!" amid other profanities.

The game itself, however, had me a little confused. Obviously, you're not going to beat any team that's shooting over 70% from the field in the first half and shooting 60% from three, but the way that our offense runs seems really weird. I don't understand why we have our two wings just sitting in corner not moving, and waiting for something to happen up top. Catchings seems kinda wasted on offense because he's just sitting there most of the time. Seems like we could encourage Egor to slash every play to open up our wings, instead of just having Keita come and get the ball at the top of the arc and then wait to pass it along the three point line again. Obviously, it's too early to lose faith in KYU and question his decisions, but it just seems like we lack any offensive aggression or movement. Our defense doesn't seem to have any fire which was evident in the 3+ non contested dunks we gave up off of good, but not great passes from Providence. In all, a sad game to go to, but I just wish our team had a little more fire when going out there in a hostile environment.
