Not unless they learn how to play in tandem with each other…
…and show some adeptness at playmaking, keeping space between them (one high one low, opposite sides of the paint etc) and learning to work off of each other. Problem is most bigs don’t have that kind of feel for the game. It would actually be a nice wrinkle for us to change up things when opposing defenses have shut down our 5 out perimeter ball screen offense. Instead we could put Fouss and Keita out there and go 3 out 2 in and have those two work high-low together.

In Roy Williams last year coaching at UNC they had several bigs that were well coached in this and moved constantly high low, criss-crossing the key and varying their positions in the paint while maintaining space, sometimes going in the dunkers spot (the slot), the low post, mid post or high post.

I think Keita would be well suited for this but Fouss is a little too regimented in his low post game where he holds the ball, has to take several dribbles and back his guy down. That won’t work in this type of offense. He would need to get more of a rim-runner mindset and get away from being such a black hole with the ball when he touches it in the post.
