Right across the street from Waikiki beach. We spent as much time as possible north. I just don't go to Hawaii to feel
Busy. Waikiki reminded me of Vegas. So if we were going to Oahu again I'd not stay there.
Loved Maui because wherever we went was laid back island vibe.

Dole plantation is not necessary imo. Like others said, Visit Honolulu and Waikiki, don't stay there.
