-Honestly not a lot of new ground was tread--repeated a lot of what we heard in the introductory press conference. Relationships matter - will miss being close to high level NBA players. CP3 was the first to call him when he got the job. Surreal to be at BYU after his time in Utah living in a cheap apartment and selling pest control to supplement his coaching income. His wife played a big role in him coming to BYU.
-His brother was instrumental in connecting him to Brandon Dunson. His brother is really helpful and has a lot of connections.
-Will add three assistants (alluded to the process being a long one). Will try to steal a couple of people from the NBA, but things are fluid.
-Hopes to have add a couple of players by the end of the week (not sure if he was referring to this week or a week from today). Emphasized that things are fluid.
-Explained that it's a little bit hard to target specific skill sets in the portal, as there is a combination of factors that they look at. Have to be flexible in how you structure the offense and defense based on skill sets.
