True, but I don't think it's fair to include Richie and Dallin in that equation.
If you are going to give credit for them coming back, you also have to account for them entering the transfer portal in the first place. They aren't replacing production lost in losing Chandler and Jaxson Robinson.

I know the poll mentioned retaining a solid group from last year, though. Overall I don't think the linked question really makes sense. Because Keba isn't replacing Chandler OR Jaxson in the lineup.

The way I see it, we basically are taking last years team and replacing:

Khalifa and Atiki with Kozlowski and Keba

Jaxson Robinson and Spencer Johnson with Dawson Baker

This is why I think we still need to bring in another wing player.

I think Fouss and Keba will eat up the minutes at the 5.
Waterman will start at the 4 with Kozlowski playing primary backup there (though Saunders could still play that role as well).
That puts Saunders, Knell, and Baker as the 3-man rotation at the 2/3 positions.
Dallin Hall plays PG with Trey Stewart backing him up (with Baker also playing some backup PG).

Another wing player/combo guard would allow us to not have to rely on Stewart as much at the backup PG position and provide more depth for injuries and foul trouble at the wing. Other than that a 3rd big who can play C would be good to bring in - though with Fouss and Keba it wouldn't need to be someone who was a rotational player. I'd prefer maybe a younger transfer who is willing to develop a bit.

When all is said and done, I don't see a lot of drop-of from last year's team. Yes, losing Chandler and Khalifa is a bummer. And I'm assuming Jaxson doesn't come back. But in an era where so many people transfer from year to year I think that BYU came away relatively unscathed - especially considering they had a coaching change.
